CME Group has a number of branded entities, external partnerships and industry sponsorships.

Our CME Group brands are valuable properties that legally connect visual identities and names with our organization. Use these corporate assets carefully and always present them correctly.

BrokerTec and EBS are sub-brands in our brand architecture that maintain a distinct relationship with the CME Group Masterbrand. In use, these will always include the CME Group logo with the wordmark. Communications from CME Group, such as letterhead, business cards and other corporate communications, will always display the CME Group logo. In sub-brand driven communications, including tradeshow booths, sales presentations and other sub-brand materials, the sub-brand wordmark takes the lead. However, in these cases, the CME Group logo should always be present to reinforce the sub-brand's relationship to the CME masterbrand.

Naming of Products and Services

CME Group uses a straightforward approach to naming that helps stretch our brand and build trust. 

We develop names that make it easy for customers to understand our products and services. This holistic approach spans our entire company and clarifies how products and services fit together to deliver customer value. A name should work with messaging and other brand elements to tell the full story. All our products, programs, and services go to market using our parent brand name. In rare exceptions, a new offering may have a strategic reason to market under its own brand.
